Whether you are just learning to skate or already know how, Upper Canada will foster that enthusiasm and help you realize your goals. We are a proud member of Skate Canada and have been running skating programs in North York for over 60 years. Upper Canada is located in the Mitchell Field Arena, 89 Church Ave., North York. 

Brochure for the 2015 Spring skating season which runs from March 23rd to May 12, 2015, is now available on the Schedule and Fees tab. The brochure includes information about the programs offered by Upper Canada as well as the fees for the sessions and important registration information.


 NOTE: The Saturday PreSchool and PreCanSkate sessions at 9:25 am to 9:55 am are not available and have been cancelled.

Wednesday PreSchool, PreCanSkate, & Thursday PreSchool, PreCanSkate, & Saturday PreSchool, PreCanSkate are now FULL. Monday & Wednesday CanSkate is now Full. No waiting lists will be taken.

The application, consent and parental code of conduct forms are found on the Registration tab which includes important registration information.

Spring Registration Week:

Monday February 9th, 2015 4:30pm-6:30pm

Tuesday February 10th, 2015 6:00pm-8:00pm

Wednesday February 11th, 2015 6:00pm-8:00pm

Thursday February 12th, 2015 4:30pm-6:30pm

Registration will take place in the Community Centre, in the Activity room across from the Gym on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and in the Board Room on Thursday. Skaters who are already members of Upper Canada (signed up for the Fall/Winter season which started last September) can print off and fill out the application form and then fax (416-225-2039) or email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to Upper Canada rather than attending the in-person registration.
